    About Glenn

    I am an industrial value-creation and governance specialist combining:

    • Former CEO/MD experience in advanced manufacturing, precise engineering & industrial technology

    • FCA-qualified (Chartered Accountant) with financial discipline and underlying finance acumen

    • Board-level leadership across growth, turnaround and exit situations

    • Multiple C-Suite roles (CFO, COO, CEO/MD) across large plc’s, SME’s and start-ups, scale-ups

    Experience in various sectors, applications, products, markets and activities including:

    • Industrial sensing, digital transformation, chemicals, fibres, coatings, marine & maritime, automotive, defence, energy, petrochemical, oil & gas, polymers, sustainability & Net Zero.

    • Innovative, efficient and sustainable technology, manufacturing processes and products developed and commercialised; combining hardware (mechanical and electrical), firmware and software, data science, edge processing & AI, digital interfaces and cloud platforms.

    • International experience in markets, customer bases & supply chains across UK, EU, USA, Far East.

    • Raising money from, partnering with and managing relationships with VC, PE firms.

    • Founded, funded, scaled and exited four industrial businesses, plus other significant M&A experience.

    • A passion for supporting, building, managing, coaching, mentoring and motivating Boards & Teams

    • Using experiential and transferable skills to train, enable, and empower teams and boards

    • Constructively challenging, with a collaborative and innovation approach, combining strategic and hands-on support and an advocate of values and wellbeing based team and business cultures.

    Alongside executive and board roles, I have acted as an external Operating Partner to multiple PE and VC firms, supporting portfolio companies and contributing to investment themes, diligence and fund-level thinking. In several cases, this has evolved into ongoing “Associate of the Firm” relationships - reflecting trusted, embedded operating partnership rather than one-off consultancy.
